MarinaHyde
Hey there, could someone help me pretty, pretty please to "remove" the character-increases-height-effect from one modded pair of boots? Unfortunately, I don’t even know where to begin with… :( Many regards,Marina
scorrp10
If those boots have high heels, removing this 'effect' will make wearer feet sink into floor. You sure this is what you want?
PeterMartyr
Go to expired Racemenu Mod read about high heels and NetImmerse Override, and read how it adds the high heel effect with nifskope using NetImmerse Override, learn to use nifskope, delete the added string value in nifskope. DONE. But has scorrp10 states it will sink into the ground. Edit to undo reinstall the mod and on the bright side you will learn some skills
anjenthedog
I equip flat bottomed boots/shoes for that very reason. No need to screw with Highheels adjustments. Lazy tools, among others, offers an adjustment, but as Scorrp10 suggested, doing so WILL cause your heels to sink into the ground. If you're concerned about camera height, you can adjust that in Racemenu or your camera mod. If you don't like that they make you far taller than anyone else (say, for instance, if you're a Nord and already ~6 ft tall) .... well, don't use them, or make your character short enough (Racemenu) that wearing them lifts your new, otherwise diminutive stature up to NPCs apparent height (eye to eye).
