I was thinking about a new radio mod that I was wondering if someone could make?

Hello! Wednesday I went to see Sum41, simple plan, and the offspring and I was happy to hear them play, but I also got news that Sum41 is disbanding which really disappointed me. I would love to see a radio mod made with their music to remember them with. If this is not possible then nevermind.

You'd have to make it yourself, uploading a mod containing that material would be illegal unless the mod maker got permission from the bands and their publishers.

 

There's plenty of radio mods that let you drop in your own music, just need to follow the instructions.

NIN was asked for permisison for a mod (only some versions of songs though) and there is NIN radio mod.

Sabaton as well.

If u want a specific band you'd have to reach out to them yourself..

There are a few radio mods out there which are 'prepared' to let you add your "own" music. (meaning: your favorite songs, not your own performance.)

 

You could do so with any radio mod, technically. (you could even replace the vanilla files), but they made it as easy as possible.

 

Don't know any from the top of my head, so you'll have to search.

 

All you need to do is export your wav (or MP3 or 4) to the right format for Fallout & put them in the right spot (or swap the files).

 

For obvious (copyright) reasons only YOU can do that, for your personal use. (No sharing!)

You could try the "2029 Radio- Pipboy Custom Radio" mod, which also has a buildable radio for settlements.  You can add your own tracks, even 100 tracks, and the radio will play them in your settlements and/or on your Pip Boy.  It's a a fantastic mod   There aren't any copyright issues because the music you use is for private use and nothing is being uploaded.  Just be sure to read the instructions thoroughly.

Speaking of uploading, do make certain not to include modded station tunes if you record and upload game clips to services like YouTube. (modders can and do include their mods' music if it's original work but copyright law would apply if the clip music was someone else's intellectual property)
