Summary

The Lost Isles is an upcoming mod from Sam Vincent, the author of the highly anticipated Rochebere. It takes place in a small landmass, corrupt and barely habitable, which includes a voice-acted questline that can end in various ways depending on your choices. The Lost Isles is to be released before Rochebere, as it was created as a way of keeping followers of the larger mod faithful and entertained.

Plot

Stranded on the shores of a strange new world, you must find the key to escaping and finding a way to get home... But doing so may be harder than you think. Three corrupt leaders, living lives of luxury and wealth while their forces of darkness oppress the people of the Isles. Three men that need to die.

Key Features

-A small, interesting new landmass
-A short but detailed questline
-New armour sets, weapons and items
-Outcomes based on the players' decisions
-Establish your own settlement

Good to hear that you're all excited to play The Lost Isles! I'll treat you all to some more screenshots tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Sam, how many hours of gameplay we can expect?

At the moment I have around 8 or 9 average length quests planned and partially scripted. These are the main focus of the mod, as I do not plan to add any side quests. The Lost Isles is pretty much just something 'small' to please people who have been eagerly waiting for Rochebere. Despite the lack of fully fledged side-quests, there are other activities you can partake in, such as upgrading your own settlement by adding more buildings and merchants etc.

Will all new content be on isolated island or there is some on Skyrim as well?

Apart from the start of the first quest, all of the new content is based in The Lost Isles.

Looks like you can't leave the Lost Isles until completeing the questline. Cool idea.

That's correct, I wanted to make the player feel like they were completely cut off from the rest of the world to add to that theme of oppression and poverty present in the questline. Hopefully it does the trick! Edited by samv96UK
