wer123456
Heard 1.5 was mod-broken, so I waited until now to try 1.6 along with Point Lookout. I have all the DLCs and some mods (weapons and armor mostly). When I started my save in Megaton, I noticed an extreme lag that probably sank my FPS down to the 10's. Dam* near unplayable with the crosshair getting to wherever I point it a full second later. Did you guys notice any slowdown since patching? Or is it just me? My laptop has 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo, GeForce 9600M GT, 4 GB RAM, Vista Ultimate x86. P.S. I noticed that the Kozaburo hair mod I had was no longer functioning, also. But probably just a small compatibility thing.

VerbalEarthworm
if anything, 1.6 is faster for me. check that the new version didn't alter your graphics settings, you may have lost whatever settings you had before, that might account for the lag. TinyMaggots101
I have noticed two sides of the 1.6 patch in terms of lag. Outside areas are fasterInside areas are slower. This has also made my FOSE not work when i try load the game with the fallout Mod Manager (I can still however play via the Fallout launcher menu in Fallout 3 Directory)

gsmanners
I'm using FOMM+FOSE+official 1.6 patch and it seems about the same performance-wise as 1.1. Then again, I'm using a 7600 GT so I doubt I'll see any difference in future patches either.
iSSARO
I'm getting about a 10fps hit with 1.6, FOMM, FOSE too. I'm noticing a lot of extra stuttering as cells load and adjusting the graphics details hasn't made a difference. Deactivating mods doesn't make a difference either. I did a clean install and patched to 1.4 and the stuttering and slow downs gone so It is defiantly 1.6 that's causing it. I have an older system but i normally play at the default medium settings.
