Keevon327
My posts were an accident. Sorry about that. I didn't get to fix it because my laptop ran up of battery. Anyway......the construction set works fine alone, but how do i make mods using obse?
XJDHDR
How exactly are you trying to open the CS with OBSE? The correct method is to create a shortcut to the OBSE Launcher, right-click on shortcut and click properties, go to the end of the target line and add (without quotes) " -editor" (note the space before - has to be there) and then open the shortcut. you don't open the cs using OBSE, thats why, you open it by clicking or double clicking on it!Sounds to me like you've never tried to create an OBSE dependant mod, Dezdimona. Just check "Shivering Isles" in the data of the Construction Set... That's right isn't it? It's how I make mine anyway
Keevon327
Got it! I was putting a space before and after the little dash in " -editor". You only need one space before it. Anyways, fixed! Thanks XJDHDR!!!!(No thanks dezdimona....)
XJDHDR
@Keevon327You're welcome @Danuve_CoilWhen was Shivering Isles mentioned? Actually, when you install Shivering Isles, Oblivion.esm is modified to include all the Shivering Isles material, instead of creating a seperate plugin. That's why there are two versions of the 1.2.0.416 patch, one for Shivering Isles users and one for those without. The Shivering Isles ESP is simply there to act as a placeholder so that the contents of the Shivering Isles BSA are loaded (?). So to create Shivering Isles dependant mods, you simply have to select Oblivion.esm in the CS.
