andymash70
Hello to all.I made a (wrong) decision and I've got Starfield in Game Pass version (I was very familiar with Steam's games stractures). So, I tried to install some (not many) visual/textures mods, as loose files. So, I went (as usual, for Bethesda's games) in the game's installed "Data" directory, I created a "Meshes" & a "Textures" folder and I placed them there. But they're not working that way. I saw some mods' descriptions saying to place them instead in "My Documents/Games/Starfield/Data"... which I did, and they're working now.But it's not acceptable for me.I've installed Starfield in a different drive (not C:). And I don't want to fill my OS (C:) drive with so many loose files, in my Windows "My Document" folder!Anyone knows if there is another why, a different way, to placing the loose files in the game's installed directory (as used to be, in Skyrim or FallOut4)???Thxs. showler
Vortex just updated the Starfield extension to work around those issues. If you don't want to use Vortex, the update should still give you the info you need to make it work.
