VailXX
Hey guys, I've just gotten into playing argonians recently, and I noticed that there is a lack of mods for the race, comparatively. One of the most obvious holes is the lack of an underwater house or cave for Argonians. Considering that the race is capable of breathing underwater, an underwater house is ideally the most suitable for an argonian playthrough. Hence, I'm posting in this forum, to humbly request any modder who likes argonians to take up this project. It would be awesome, and definitely would be appreciated by every Argonian lover out there. On the subject of what the house is like, please do exercise creative license. Maybe put the entrance at the bottom of some lake? Or place a cave opening underwater. Anything would be cool as there is nothing available. Once again, thank you to whoever takes this up. I'll look forward to seeing the mod on the hotfiles :)
Konrann
I'm making your underwater house since it sounds like fun, and I enjoy making little player homes! So far I'm thinking underwater entrance... you get into a small cave and swim to shore, and everything will have a damp, swampy feel to it. I'm thinking spiky grass, hanging moss and mushrooms growing by torchlight. I'll make sure all the player home amenities are in there. I'm also thinking of making a small shrine: "Pray to Hist Statue." Like a small tree retextured to look like a statue that grants a small temporary combat skill perk. Or would that be too weird? Do Argonians ever pray to Hist trees? The lore is weird, let me know your opinion.Feel free to pipe in with any other ideas you have... location, ambiance, amenities. It's more fun making a home if I know at least one person in the world will be excited about it!
Konrann
P.S. If anyone else reads this and has ideas for "Things that would be really cool in an Argonian home," please do share!
IronMannequinMrkXXI
Well, if you're making an Argonian home, there is one thing that absolutely needs to not be forgotten: a random Lusty Argonian Maid book on a table or a bookshelf.
Konrann
Hahaha. How about right on the nightstand? :D
QuickKeyzz
How about making it literally under water, meaning the cave or house itself is full of water. No humans or others could follow unless they too can breath in or under water.Talk about a great security item..then again there's that meat eating fish problem...lol

gearmiester
Wow I was also thinking about this as well, only I was looking for something more like an underwater observatory with glass ceilings. I don't know how easy that would be, though, but I would love to see an old dwemer/custom Victorian era home combination that could be accessed via an underwater entrance in a lake. I do like the Idea of a completely submerged lair for the water breathers out there. Light might be an issue but I am sure that with glowing mushrooms or light orbs placed around would be cool. anyway I am looking forward to seeing what is developed! Konrann
I ended up making a home with an underwater entrance, not completely underwater as some suggested.http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50111/?It has a very vanilla vibe to it, which was sort of on purpose. If anyone has any suggestions for improvements, I'm all ears!
