Derialund
Hi! I'm here to ask you if there's someone out there, that would change the College of Winterhold (and all the related elements, like gates, banners etc.), with something less satanic/illuminati/freemasonry? It's a upside-down star, with an eye in the middle.Maybe something that recalls the magic-schools symbols (like the Destruction one), would be more innocent? Even because, a satanic/illuminati symbol, is not lore-friendly at all. Thank you, for who will accept this call. Xander9009
Yes, the satanic goat head thing is related to an inverted star, but an inverted star on its own is not satanic, it's the exact opposite, a ward against evil. The eye over the pyramid is often attributed to the Illuminati, but that doesn't make every eye a symbol for them. I'm not actually sure where free masons come in. Anyway, I've always imagined the eye represents sight->knowledge->learning. The star has a point for every school of magic recognized in Skyrim. It's not upside down so much as it's not right side up. By that I mean it's not intentionally upside down, it's more about there not being a single school on top. But those are just my thoughts on the matter. But regardless of my thoughts, there's certainly nothing satanic/illuminati/freemasonry about the symbol. hanama6666
If you don't like it, just open the command console (~), click on the symbol, and type (disable), Enter. Then it will gone.

If you look closly you could see the freemason insygnia in the Julianos Worship stone ...triangle thing....... :/ but yeah it IS in there its just hidden by all kinds of lines and circles. and to the OP this ..game IS based off of D&D you know. or it at least originated as such from the first game Arena and has evolved from there.
