Werewolf_13
I have a problem with nude guards walking in cities and every arginian has a crazy skin texture. The advice I have been given is to delete all mods and then put them back one at the time. The guards are not nude when I start a new game. The Argonians head and tail are untuched by the crazy texture. And when an Argonian is wearing clothes the textures look like normal. Is there another way to do it than this long process? Can anyone see which of these esps create the problems? Is it possible for someone to send me the orginal argonian files so I can see if they work? You can but them here: http://www.dump.no/ It supporte files to 60 mb. Give me the link when thay are upploaded. Thanks Werewolf_13
Vadilou
They're in the Oblivion BSA file so they're untouchable unless you edit the BSA file with a BSA editor, so you only have to delete (or move) the files placed by any texture replacer mod. bben46
I hope you didn't type in that list manually.Getting a load order list to post in the forums Of course you have to be running OBMM first to do this. If you don't have it, get it and use it. It is the handiest utility available for Oblivion. Start OBMM On the right, click on the box that says Import/Export Select the top entry on the drop down list, View Load Order Your load order will be displayed. Note that any inactive mods will not show in the list. On the top left, click in the disk icon – a save box will pop up. First you need to tell it where to save your list – the desktop is a good place and easy to find. Next, go down to the second block at the bottom to select the save as type: Pick Plain Text (*.Txt) Now, in the File name block type in a name, such as Load List-1 Copy and paste the load order directly into to your post. If you want to keep a copy for your own use, make a text file and past the same list into it. Then 'save as' and give it a name that you will remember, such as Load list-1.txt Be sure to manually input that you are using OBMM and if you are using them, OBSE and WryeBash as they are not really mods, but utility programs and will not show in the list. BOSS is another utility, also used outside of the game. If you are using BOSS, you will need OBMM also as any mod not recognized by BOSS will be placed at the end of the load order. OBMM will allow manual placing of mods in the load order.
Werewolf_13
I have OBMM and OBSE. Copied loadorder from OBMM to my post. But I sit in some way posible to start a new game and every item I have and all the skills to the new save? So when I start the new game I find all items in a box and there is f.eks. a well where I can get my stats and quests. Is that possible or is it to advanced? Because if that is possilbe starting a new game will fix the guard problem. Thanks Werewolf_13

Thanks Werewolf_13If yours newgames haven't the issues, it suggests that savegames refers to items (mods?) now absents.Vadilou gave you sound advices. Make sure you don't have former and updated mods versions together.Even if new games seems to work as expected, in a scenery like that (most of mods I never did use and don't know how they fare) something may trigger the issues but only by trying it one can possibly know. No, there is no sensible way to start a new game importing a character, this is because the way the game keep track of several variables related to him/her and such thing may broke quests badly. What you can do is 'cheating' the status and giving items to her... the already done quests can be 'cheated' too: Go to this page to learn how to advance and/or finish quests. Note I quoted the word cheat because beyond the concept of cheating being somewhat arguable in single games, you would be just recovering previous stats. Obviously you'll need to adjust only the main quest and some meaningful sidequests like the guilds ones. PS: Be aware than finishing quests by advancing their stages will not take into account the items involved in it, so remember to get them 'someway' too. Conversely, just having an item do not mean you performed it's quest. PS2: Something you may want to try first is doing an "archive invalidation", a procedure you can do from OBMM. This will force the game to seek out for the actual location of files... like using the original BSA instead overlapping mods files not present anymore. Not granted but worth a try. I had the sexlivion mod. I deleted it some time ago. I tried the "archive invalidation" OBMM but ti did not help. If nobody can find a way to fix the nude guards I might just start a new game and auto complete all the quests I have done. I will also use the "advlevel" command to get some of my skills back and see if a mod can make me an expert in everything.
