Much of it was in the form of large, but relatively compact, rolls of microfilm. It was there and then that I found out about the capture of the silver flying-saucer that crashed after battling, and destroying, three grey flying-saucers. The Old Nazis faction, in the old bunker complex, had kept the capture of the silver saucer to themselves for they feared a new, rising power faction amongst the higher ranks of the German Fascist State. They simply called it the Grey Reich Movement but linked it with strange new, exotic technologies, new resources coming apparently from nowhere and some kind of alliance with aliens known as the 'Greys'. Information spoke of Greys abducting people, both civilians and soldiers, of them leaving mutilated cattle in Germany and the German Occupied Areas, of Grey saucers attacking Alliance aircraft, of Silver saucers attacking the Grey saucers and being attacked in turn. The 'Silvers' were less common than the 'Greys' but seemed to be more powerful, more advanced, and cannier. There were many secrets revealed in that place, including of the Alliance, from research into nuclear weapons, to horrific Nazi experiments on death camp victims, to the development of the so called superclones that came from the capsulevats, to power armour, to new long range rockets with bigger payloads and even such as the use of something called a pornographic projector. Some of the projects, like the last spoken of, were weird. Others were very efficient such as new infantry fighting weapons both effective and yet fairly easy to manufacture. Yet there were gaps, guesswork and even contradiction in the archival information and it was soon clear that the Old Nazis knew far from everything that the Grey Reich was up to. We found a special map of the Nazi base, that we were in, and it showed some very well hidden areas that we had not previously found. At once we sought them out but with great care because the map indicated that they had not just armour and locks but booby-traps protecting them. -CONTINUED- Edited January 29, 2012 by Maharg67
Maharg67
http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/tt9/Dragonpen61/Forum%20Additives/immortal2-1-1.jpg-8-ENDLESS EPIC OF ETERNITYIN THE OLD NAZI UNDERGROUND BASE I led the way into the first well hidden and secured area we got to, that was in the map we had found, and got past the deceptions, locks and booby-traps with some difficulty. Then we were in a huge chamber of hardened concrete with great pillars and many exhibits. For it was a kind of archival museum of Nazi German super-weapons, both successful and not so successful, that was quite impressive. I wondered how the Old Nazis had managed to put it together or why they had bothered. The answer soon came in a stack of printed pamphlets that held instructions for staff in relation to the up and coming visit of the Fuhrer himself, Adolph Hitler. Clearly that had taken place before the assassination of Hitler, and many of his high ranking cronies, with a powerful bomb blast that ended an important, secret meeting rather abruptly; clearly the meeting had not been so secret as Hitler would have wished it to be. The chamber had many super-weapons developed by the Old Nazis under the leadership of Adolph Hitler. There was a V1 flying-bomb on a short ramp. There was a tall V2 long range rocket on its tail. There was a rocket-plane with multiple rocket launchers in the nose. There was a huge, hulking battletank known as the 'Mouse', showing that at least some Old Nazis had some kind of humour. There was a multiple purpose armoured vehicle with four sets of tracks that was articulated so it also had a forward and rear cabin; it could drive in either direction, either cabin becoming the driving one. There was a Sturmgewehr44 assault-rifle, early production model, along with some prototypes. There was a small, fast and agile helicopter and also a gyrocopter of much the same size. The poor, dead Frankenstein monster like creature was in a great big jar of preserving liquid. Clearly trying to replicate the fictional experiments of Doctor Frankenstein had come to no good. The multiple purpose exomech was like some bizarre tall headless humanoid, metallic and semi-enclosed where a mannequin was placed in the 'cockpit'. The exomech was equipped on one side with a multiple rocket-grenade launcher and on the other with a drilling tool, to show its versatility. Me, I considered it to be a great big target. The big lasergun, in a semi-enclosed armoured trailer, was not good as a conventional weapon but seemed designed for what was designated only as the 'special enemy'. I remembered that the superclones were vulnerable to bright hot sunlight and wondered if this lasergun was meant to deal with them. Was Adolph Hitler, and his people, preparing to fight an enemy inside the Third Reich itself? Or was that secret war already being waged? Then there were other exhibits, mostly models and plans, blueprints and photographs. Something twigged that all was not straight forward in the exhibition, that there was a hidden pattern in it. So I began to examine things from the start, to try to understand the layout of the whole chamber as well as the individual features. So it was that I found the well hidden armoured hatch that led to a place not mentioned on the map. -CONTINUED- Edited January 29, 2012 by Maharg67

Great cylinders held the twisted, malformed bodies of experimental victims, being both those that were once normal humans and those that had been cloned or otherwise created. There were one hundred and twenty-eight cylinders but eighteen of the cylinders were empty. Nine had living creatures in them but the lifeforms in the others had all died, thankfully, mercifully people deaths. With the cylinders were small filing cabinets full of data, one with each cylinder, and as I went through each with amazing speed, absorbing the information efficiently, I learned a great deal, much of which sickened me, some of which surprised me. Doctor Frankenstein, Doctor Moreau, Doctor Jekyll were all listed being infamous geniuses who had created in turn reanimated dead monsters, animal-human hybrids, a changes that turned humans into monsters. There were others named that I knew nothing of. They had all taken part in these experiments though surely two of them should have long died of old age. There were black-white photos of some youthful mature men and women in white labcoats and amongst them were the three men who had been mentioned. There was something disturbing about all of them, something unnatural, that showed in the strangeness of their body language and the coldness of their eyes. They were apparently attractive but I found them to be anything but so. Just what had been going on in that Old Nazi Base and what did it have to do with the New Nazis? Had the New Nazis ever learned about that secret chamber which was full of the results of Grey Reich experiments? I wondered if Hitler ever got to the base but thinking about what clues were in the old base, I soon figured he had been killed before he made it. Yet something started to niggle at the back of my mind as I realized then, and there, that memories had been stolen from my mind. Yet had the theft been done efficiently? It seemed the memories were struggling, even then, to come back to me full and clear. About the surviving nine I did not know what to do for they were less malformed than the others, which was one reason that they had survived. They might have valuable information to give but did I have the right to wake them, to expose them to possible pain again? I had to take at least some time to consider matters, to consult with others, and to make the final decision for with out trying to do so, I had become the leader of my group. -CONTINUED- Edited February 9, 2012 by Maharg67

I was a young woman called Ella12321, an odd citizen number behind my name and one much remarked on by citizen number numerologists. In truth I did not take much interest in such things let alone give them much credence. What I did give credence to were the incredibly vivid dreams of being in a broken spaceship of some kind in space, of being some kind of transformed supersoldier in an alternative World War Two and other scenarios, some more disturbing than others. If I had not been living in the Perfect Metropolis, where bad dreams were illegal, I would have worried less. As it was I was concerned about being caught by the Dream Police for those amazing dreams were getting past the barriers set up by my monthly injections and my annual hypnotic conditioning sessions. So far, with the use of some semilegal drugs, I had managed to go on living the supposed 'perfect life' of a Perfect Citizen. I carried out my duties well as a roboremote operator laser cleansing hyperspace gunk off starships landed at the great citystate floating in space as a mighty spinning ten wheel structure, wheels moving in opposition to each other for stability. Below could be seen Mother Earth, a world being Terraformed back to natural beauty with the Perfect Dreamer's vision of what 'perfect nature' should be like. Yes, the Perfect Dreamer, the guiding light of eternal happiness and the ruthless absolute ruler of the Perfect Metropolis. In my glittery translucent skimpy clothing, considered modest back then, I threw back my golden blonde hair so that it swirled in slow motion through the air, and smiled teasingly at a fat floater man bouncing happily through the air. Oh perfection of happiness! Too bad it was all a horrible lie, a terrible exploitation of humanity by a secret alien government ruling humanity behind an amazingly well fabricated facade. -CONTINUED- Edited February 11, 2012 by Maharg67

The magical vessel shuddered, ancient alarms rang, but then a strange silence fell upon the ship. Everything was stillness. All those in the vessel became still except for two. Why they were not effected, they did not know. HerculineAfa and HerculineTao at first considered that the freezing was part of the attack but then discovered, to their great surprise, that it was a defensive action by the ancient magical ship. The grand central control console informed them so, a great thing of brass, glass and other materials transformed by powerful magic to become quasimagical. They found the frozen Oblivion Gate in a secondary area used to store odds and ends by the clone population of the vessel. The Oblivion Gate was frozen and so were the monstrous Dremora Knights that had managed to enter the vessel in powerful magical armour, wielding powerful magical weapons. These were members of the elite force directly serving Mehrunes Dagon himself and not one of his powerful secondary lords. HerculineTao and HerculineAfa at once begun to work on a way to evict the intruders and the Oblivion Gate with out harming the ancient Transmagical Ship and anybody or anything that truly belonged to it. -CONTINUED- Edited January 25, 2012 by Maharg67

She knew then, 'sensing' it also through her clone-daughters, that the quasimagical transport was in some sort of trouble. They could not retreat to there for after the last treasure was sent, it became impossible to send anything else to there. The expedition kept checking the great temple of the Dark Divines of Shevagz the Murderous Healer, Hurovagz the Heroic Coward, Sanzovagz the Great Unwise, Blethvagz the Charming Brute and Sherrivagz the Virgin prostitute. They found a secret door that opened, with a little difficulty, and then they followed a wide, high stone tunnel that plunged into the ground. Herculine spoke. "It is said that the Dark Divines became as of the undead but of a unique kind unlike any previously known be they vampires or lichs or zombies or others. Like other undead they became vulnerable to sunlight, to silver and especially to special forms of silver but also to some other exotic threats. The Dark Divines vanished from Tamriel, from Nirn, and it was not known what had happened to them. Perhaps here and now we will solve that mystery. In truth I do not wish to meet up with one of the Dark Divines let alone all five of them." The tunnel was soon joined by others and also by rampwell shafts. They passed through big chambers where clean, cool water flowed through wide, deep rock channels lit by thick clumps of glowmoss growing on walls and the ceilings. They found her, the Dark Divine known as Shevagz the Murderous Healer, fused into a quasiliving metallic stone form half sunken into an ice cold form. She slowly moved, breathing, naked and beautiful except for her black, cold, hard hate filled eyes. She moved her great head to study the newcomers and grimaced as if expecting they would bring her yet more trouble. Then she spoke in an ancient language of the Divines that Herculine understood but none of the others. "The joke was on us. We betrayed and we were betrayed in turn. Mehrunes Dagon invades Cyrodiil not just to capture territory and other riches but to destroy the one who betrayed us... no, the thing that betrayed us. He is called the Undeathless One, just one of his many names, and he is greatly powerful but even more cunning and seductive. I am like this because he stole my divine essence... or at least a great deal of it. I have enough remaining to survive. I suspect he did this deliberately, knowing that it would prolong my suffering. I must sleep but first I will give you these clues." With a sparkling shimmer three large scrolls appeared at the feet of Herculine. The great quasiliving statue closed her eyes and would no longer even attempt to talk with them. Herculine realized that the Dark Divine could not do so, had exhausted herself just speaking to them. She carefully picked up the scrolls, after checking for danger and finding none, and was very surprised by what she found. She was also shocked and angry. -CONTINUED- Edited January 30, 2012 by Maharg67

Yet there was something wrong with what she was seeing. This was, but was not, the Emperor. It seemed to make little 'sense' to her. The 'Emperor' was confronting all five of the Dark Divines and though they were larger, more impressive looking, than he was, it was they who seemed intimidated by his presence. The second scroll showed a copy of a set of instructions written in the highly personal, highly stylized form well known of the Emperor. Those instructions were not all clear for they seemed to take for granted prior knowledge that Herculine did not have. Amongst the instructions were the following: a series of steps to deal with Mehrunes Dagon, and his lesser daedra; instructions to find and kill one Imperial Prince and to pretend to kill the other while capturing him; instructions on how to 'deal with' the Emperor while manipulating the Blades; instructions to track down somebody known as Martin and to 'deal' with him. Instructions to attack and to destroy the Lesser Imperial City of Kvatch as part of 'dealing' with Martin and capturing three unnamed artifacts, of great importance, from beneath the main part of the city. Other instructions spoke of dealing with one 'Herculine' the trouble maker, of undermining the Cyrodilin Empire to make it easier to conquer and to making necessary treaties with three dark, powerful but unnamed 'possible allies'. The signature was hard to read but looked in some ways of the style of the Emperor and there was no Imperial Seal. The third scroll showed drawings and diagrams of strange, evil and deadly looking devices like metallic armoured golems, swords with strange trigger-handles and what could be winged flying machines along with some that were very much like those of the long gone dwemer, the so called 'dwarves' that had vanished long ago in a mysterious sudden manner. The scrolls were directly disturbing but even more so indirectly, in their implications. -CONTINUED- Edited January 31, 2012 by Maharg67

Twice they came upon loose clusters of zombies but these lesser undead were not aggressive; they seemed to be deeply confused and blundered around or stood staring mindlessly into mid air. All of the zombies wore symbols as Followers of the Dark Divines be they warriors, servants, workers or other kinds. Perhaps they had been struck down by the same sort of treachery that had weakened and trapped the Dark Divines. That is if the Dark Divines were all still weakened and trapped. The metallic stone statue, of Hurovagz the Heroic Coward, was half buried in broken, jagged hard metal. His armoured body was fused into the metallic, mostly underground, sphere. His head turned slowly, painfully, towards Herculine and then it spoke. "Aaahhh, yes, you have the three scrolls but let me show you more of the treachery that doomed we five, stupid betrayers that we were. Across to the wall there, right of the statue of the winged succubus, is a lightly dark square patch of rock. We Dark Divines designed and built five dreadful devices for the one that betrayed us but we were cunning enough to build copies in case we needed them." Then the head fell forward and was silent. They found a longsword, a longknife, a shield, a shortbow and a helmet. Each hummed softly with strange, disturbing power. Herculine wrapped them carefully in special cloth and the group took these deadly artifacts with them. Soon they were moving on with Herculine expecting to meet other trapped Dark Divines. -CONTINUED- Edited February 1, 2012 by Maharg67

Herculine examined the five artifacts, as did Ninajina, and both saw the bizarre symbols. They were distorted versions of the Emperor's own symbol and that of that of the Cyrodilin Empire. Not just distorted but somehow deeply disturbing. Ninajina spoke. "I have seen those symbols before on a fragment of a strange artifact of power. It was in the Thieves Guild Museum that I was busy robbing at the time of goods stolen from the Empire. The artifact looked like part of a metallic egg. Or that is how I thought of it. It was locked in a steel lined alcove with powerful magical wards and quasimagical guardian emblems to stop it from being stolen and to stop it from doing harm. I did some research.... questioned a high ranking guild member in a note so polite manner... and learned the Thieves Guild no longer wanted the troublesome artifact but could think of no way to get rid of it safely. It had strange, terrible effects on anybody who got too close to it and did strange things to arcane magic." Herculine frowned. "I did hear that the Thieves Guild Museum was attacked, about a year ago, by a powerful, mysterious force. Twenty-four guards, including two battlemages, were killed. Yet only one artifact was taken though much damage was done generally to the museum." Ninajina nodded. "Yes, the stolen artifact was the very fragment that I spoke of. Professional tomb-raiders found it close to where we are now, below the Cloud Ruler Temple. They sold the fragment to the Thieves Guild for just a few golden coins of not great value. The Thieves Guild must have considered it a bargain at the time but came to regret taking the deal. If we should find what the fragment came from, that might tell us something important. The tomb-raiders died mysterious, horrible deaths." That was a strong possibility but they had no real idea where it was that the tomb-raiders. They kept on moving, soon moving through shallow flooded tunnels past softly glowing images of strange six armed women and men fighting each other with metal reinforced wooden clubs, each fighter wearing nothing but a golden metallic leaf over the groin. -CONTINUED-
