Well it was way back in the day weren't it =)

But it's so epic to just make 10,000 men and flood an entire city with them. It just look so awesome and not many games look like that anymore.

Last game to give a total "flooding" in a map of soldiers was Rome: Total war because they didn't die as easily as they do in Medieval and Empire.

It's still great that at least you can still play it on Windows 7, but it was a pain to figure it out.

I remember that my dad bought me Cossacks: European Wars when I was a younger, about 9 or 10.

I didn't really understand it that much then... I liked building cities, but it really wasn't the idea, so I got crushed by the enemy.

I still liked it, though. I don't know where it is now.

I was exactly the same when my father bought it for me too.

A year or so later (After playing the like of age of empires/ medieval: total war/ caesar 3)

I was into it and actually understood how to play it haha.

Now it's one of my all time favourite games.

The past 5 posts I've seen you put have not been very positive ones have they?

This thread was on the first or second page of PC Gaming.

Sorry but being so close to the front you actually EXPECT something that close to be recent

I only noticed after you pointed that out.

We are all gamers and we enjoy our games.

I enjoy this game and therefore will post here.
