PC Gaming Computer....What one?

So I'm in Canada. Looking for best bang for buck, 1,500$ tops. I seen this one looks pretty good! I'll share a link, Want to be able to play Any game smooth without straining the PC. (Anything better share links plz) I'm not am expert or have that much knowledge about Gaming PCs so that's why I'm asking I'm sure many here are.

For the money that seems like a nice computer but the i7 8700 chip seems awfully dated.

Its odd to see a 8th generation chip on a brand new computer with a 4th generation GPU.

 

I recently gave away a i7 9800 as no longer good enough for me (and I am about to replace its replacement when the 14th gen comes out in a week).

as said the i7 8700 is still a solid 6/12 core cpu but 14nm and 2017 built. the bigger problem may be the motherboard since this is an old platform. check the pci standard this board supports and what memory is used (ddr3 or ddr4). a gpu not able to use full 16 bit pci slot (like a 4060 nvidia)may run slower as expected.
