I recently gave away a i7 9800 as no longer good enough for me (and I am about to replace its replacement when the 14th gen comes out in a week).
xBack2Moddingx Posted October 25, 2023 Author Posted October 25, 2023 Sorry for the late reply Haha, Been super busy, So what would u recommend? (OR Anyone else here) For 1,500$ maybe little more! And I'm not to knowledgeable when it comes to the names so any suggestions (If you can) send a link to like on Amazon or whatever, Thanks guys :)
xrayy Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 as said the i7 8700 is still a solid 6/12 core cpu but 14nm and 2017 built. the bigger problem may be the motherboard since this is an old platform. check the pci standard this board supports and what memory is used (ddr3 or ddr4). a gpu not able to use full 16 bit pci slot (like a 4060 nvidia)may run slower as expected.
