David Brasher
I want to see a whole bunch of factions to join like there were in Morrowind. Oblivion has about 5 factions. Morrowind had The Fighter's Guild, The Mages Guild, The Thieve's Guild, The Imperial Cult, The Imperial Legion, The Temple, House Hlallu, House Redoran, House Telvanni, and at least four smaller factions that I know about. Morrowind had a faction attractive to almost any character class. Oblivion is lame in this respect. What faction can you join if you are something like a healer, pilgrim, or monk? AncientSpaceAeon
Animations and HUGE replaybility. Animations gonna make all the combat, stealth and magic so awesome, while have cool designed mission. (Not like fighting a lion) What I really want is like to play in a movie. Like Resident Evil 4, that really puts you on a movie, or Call of Duty : Modern Warfare, who have cool designed mission. (I loved the Modern Warfare 2 trailer, can't wait)
Jinxxed0
Everyone has listed things that i'd love to see. The biggest thing i'd like to see though, would be an original concept. Don't get me wrong, Oblivions setting is great, but how many more medival-with-magic settings are they going to make. I really how to move the settings of the next game to a different continent. I don't care if its asian or egyptian, or what. A lot of people seem to like same old concept even though it seems to be over done. Maybe though could have a bigger play area and expand, have it on the same continent so they have the same old medival-with-magic feel, then have a boat ride or something (maybe even let the player highjack a boat or buy one him/her self. And end up in another area with a different culture and different clothing, weapons, foods, fighting styles, magic, accents, ect. Maybe even add a third or forth one. I'm 95% nothing like this would ever happen though. Not many people seem to be interested in anything else when it comes to TES. At this point I'd settle for a TES game that went further into future (but not too much or course) and had some type of eleborate kingdom with giant castles and huge cities that don't just look like small towns. Besides wanting a different setting though, I'd also like more blood/violence. Like a claw weapon to rip people apart, spears is must, if there are no spears in the next game I'm waiting for a price drop, cause not putting spears in the game is just nuts. Maybe have some eleborate weapons like Xena's throwing ring, dual hand cannons (lol). Maybe they could find a way to have some sort of online play. Definatly not an mmo. But maybe they can set it up where if your character goes to sleep, you get the option to go online and join a host/server, or host your own, or meet up with friends. And it'd be considered a dream like world where you can gain experience but not material things, but there probably a better way to do it with like a magic portal that takes you to an alternate world where you meet up with friends or strangers and do quests together or fight each other, maybe even have some type of alternate world arena battle where its all players. It'd probably be more of a problem than its worth though since there will be millions of mods. But maybe they could set it up where if you go online, all the mods you have (except for replacers) are disabled while online ( like if you go online with modded armor, you arrived naked and have to put on vanilla armor, same with weapons). There way more complications than that though. But they could take a big step further and have the mod comunity tied with their servers and have mayjor or populare mods enabled with certain servers (such as armors and weapons since everone wants to look unique). And if they don't have the mods when they join a server they can be prompted to download it, or just filter their search for a non-modfied game). You could have 4 players at a time and for them to stay together for co-op, or have like 32 or 64 players and they can just team up into smaller parties, or team up and take down giant monsters. I guess an online mode wouldnt be hard for the consoles, but it's probably more trouble than its worth with the PC version.
keewynne
I love some of these ideas, i think it should be more open as in NO LOADING SCREENS that way it would be a lot more immersive, I think the graphics are OK the animations arre too samey so i think there could be a big improvement with them. They should definately incorporate gamepad support, im sick of toggling run on and off :P a few more critters would be nice like the deer. I also think wars between factions would be cool for example you join "goody Two shoes" guild ut could fight againat "big bad bruiesers" I arnt to bothered about online play, although it would be cool to have an online ranking system of some sort more sub races like the vampire, werewolf quests for sub races, coz there is only one quest for a vampire and thats to change back to normal. And thats all i can think of for now
