Ages ago I played a Game called Zone of Enders. The player Mech (Jehuty) had an ability called "Decoy" where she would dash back leaving a Decoy to take damage.

 

I am looking for any Ideas on how or if even possible to make an ability/spell that might do the same. Player dash backward leaving a ghost image in their place to take fireballs and arrows alike then disappearing. A ghost w/o AI would work for the decoy and is easy enough, but the dash backward and summon in place is beyond my knowledge.

I was trying to figure out a way reverse the sprint shout but as I said, beyond my knowledge.

 

Any ideas from the many who know the CK?

PlaceActorAtMe may be of some use to you for the summoning.

 

As far as reversing the sprint shout, that's pretty much Impossible as It's distance, speed, etc. are based on the animation for the shout and nothing actually changeable in the CK.

 

I'm not sure of any script that could give a similar effect. Moveto, KeepOffsetFromActor, or PushActorAway might be of some use to you.

PlaceActorAtMe like was said, along with a muffle and invisibility spell put on the player. The running you would have to take care of yourself. Maybe have the actor set to be reckless and have a package that would cause it to run at and attack any enemies in a certain radius.
