there is an update and a full package, did you download the full package(definitely has meshes in it) (more than 50mb IIRC)?

Also I would suggest BAIN (part of Wrye Bash) but that is just my prefered installation method.

Pacific Morrowind

indeed it has mesh files, use this to install your mods, then you know they're installed correctly

ok... i dont understand.. Use this? WHat?! Oblivion Mod Manager? i have one... its still not workign on midas magic.. oh well, what download are you talkin about?>

As PacificMorrowind did ask: have you download and install the full package first? that big one

OBMM is an utility that falls in that 'must have' category. Dezdimona's suggestion is about you using the OMOD version, which is a format that is the same as the common 7z file but includes an extra folder with informations (OBMM do use those informations to do an automatic install) about where each mod's folders and files will be placed, so the final user don't need to bother about it.

I note you are using Vista, and this OS have a peculiar (not to say retarded) way to treat security. Although I can't say based on the screenshot, I suppose you did install the game into the "Program Files" folder that Vista is about paranoid with... and several reports about issues like this yours have been done for years...

There are at least two things you must do before trying a mod specific bug tracking... first involves UAC (I prefer a suffe, I mean user of Vista explains about). The other would be installing the game far away that accursed folder. What may be not an option in this case but is useful as a warning: Install all and every game outside "Program Files" folder (and maybe the rest of applications too).
