The official plugin is 3dsmax only, but there may be a very tiny chance that someone wrote a plugin for Maya and never announced it. 2) Of course I've heard of Maya. It's about equivalent to 3dsmax. Better for some things, worse for others. Either you have a very old version, are extremely rich, or we won't discuss the other alternative. tongue.gif Or he bought it with the student discount, which brings the price down to a reasonable $500-ish.
