I'm having a problem with Megaton missing textures.

The textures seem to draw themselves as I move forward. I've tried everything I can think of, except from uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I just started having this problem, and it only happens in Megaton. Anyone know of any way to fix this? I'll reinstall the game if I have to, but it's kind of a last resort for me.

Thanks in advance!

Extract the games main BSA file into the data directory, Overwrite all.

  • (Fallout - Textures.bsa) To --> Game\Data

Use Fomm or a utility of choice to do this. IF this does not Fix that issue? Then you have a display graphics glitch, a reboot might be required.

That sort of thing occurs from compressed *.dds files Packed into BSA's.

EDIT: Similar to this, Taft Tunnel escaping quest sections showed up missing hard coded data. It's there , other wise the shell casings would not land on anything. a lot of structures are missing segments.http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/823/wyc8.jpg

Thanks for the reply. I'm extracting now. Hope it works.

Here's my load order, just to be safe:

I'm also using ENBseries 0.247 and SweetFX 1.5.

Did you have this problem before you added the ENB and SweetFX or did it appear afterwards?

What are your equipment specifications?

I don't think I had this problem before adding ENB and SweetFX. I did run the game after "uninstalling" them, so I'm not sure if they're causing the problem or not. It's always run fine before yesterday, so I don't think it's a problem with my computer.

I uploaded my dxdiag.txt, if that helps.

P.S. Extracting from textures.bsa didn't work. Still getting the graphics glitch in Megaton.

Did you disable Anti-aliasing & Anisotropic filtering?

Yeah, I made sure to disable them.

Anyways, thanks for the help, but I just ended up reinstalling, which fixed the problem. I'm not sure what caused it, but hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Thanks again for the help.
