Upgradeable Starborn Guardian (Mod Request)

All Starborn Guardian ships are P'OS!  Please make them upgradable. 

I don't want to make any visible changes, I just want to upgrade the stats to match a C Class ship in sheild and weapon power.

By the time I get to the first NG+ I can build C class ships.  This means I can easily build a ship that is far superior to even the Starborn Guardian VI. 

I'd love to fly around in the Starborn ship but it's basically a Class A starter ship.

You'd think while visiting infinite universes the Starborn would learn to build more capable ships.

There are a couple of mods around that boost the stats, weapon damage, etc.  But yes, it is a starter ship.  You're supposed to use it to get to the Lodge and that's about it.
