WillSnider94
..so how plausible is it now that one single A.I could diversely control every individual N.P.C & their influence upon the game’s scenario? If something like this could be modded in, how big of a mod would it be? (Storage-space wise.)
anjenthedog
the code itself might not be very large (at least in comparison to many mods), but the MCU and memory demands necessary to accomplish that control might be exceedingly large. It *is* an intriguing idea though. Afaik I saw something recently about some sort of primitive AI mod for Skyrim (vaguely recall some mention of chat GOTR GPT being involved somehow), to improve dialogs, although I can't recall exactly where (yt showcase I think but don't recall the title) or what its name is
greyday01
Don't know if it counts as A.I. but Zork Grand Inquisitor had a text editor where you could ask the people questions about anything. Typed not chosen from a list. Part of the fun was trying to figure out the question you needed to ask or the request you had to make to advance the plot. Some of the replies were hilarious. It was from the 90s so it didn't take much computing power. Don't see why that couldn't work in Skyrim, though possibly not with a console.
