New ship parts and error suppression?

Hey thrill seekers, TwoDog here, AKA Dave!

I stumbled upon mods in Stardew valley and now I am loving them.

...and now I am building SPACESHIPS!!!!

  Somebody CATCH MEH!

My project ship is built around the story of the ISC Far Reaches.  It's quite a mashup.  The primary problem for me is that it's a combination ship--two ships that lock together.  Of course the shipbuilder app is losing its mind trying to keep up on all the errors.  I have managed to find mods allowing me to add extra bridges and landing bays, but I need to suppress more errors.

"Landing gear must align with landing bay ramp" error:   I want to be able to put landing gear anywhere.  Does anyone know how to turn off this check?

I also want to put landing bays wherever I want.  I have been using them to simulate ground vehicle deployment bays, but the error "Modules Below the landing bay" error is hanging me up.  Anyone know how I might disable that one.

I want to get into modding more!  Can't seem to sign up for Discord.

I am trying to make some custom parts:  Livestock transport pods,  Giant mechanical claws, cranes, winches, harpoons, cosmetic ground vehicles...and a putt-putt golf course...and Zero G Swimming pool!  And how about lights and light switches for the interior.  It's so dark in here! 🙂

I need to learn how to make these, or have someone make them for me.  Building this ship might inspire me to start writing again.  I guess I am basically looking for a mentor. 🙂

  Thank you for looking!

   Dave (AKA TwoDog)

The mod linked above bypasses the hardcoded error-check but note that landing, taking off, etc. animations and the all flight cameras in general were designed by the developers with the vanilla restrictions in mind.. so, if you encounter graphical or other kind of glitches triggered by the creative ship layout, you may need to edit certain .ini settings as well.
