PapyJr13 Posted December 23, 2023 Share Posted December 23, 2023 It's like the first time it happens to me and I cant figure out which mod could do that. Like I want to press "esc" during the opening sequence to adjust my parameters but everytime the game crashes. I used a crash log to know the problem but I cant understand how to read it. PapyJr13 Posted December 24, 2023 Author Share Posted December 24, 2023 I even tried to translate the log but even it cant help me My first crashes was because of my lack of RAM, so i closed every windows I could get, even downloaded lower resolution texture mod and now the RAM is not the problem anymore. anjenthedog Posted December 26, 2023 Share Posted December 26, 2023 Fwiw, try using the H or J key to navigate to settings indirectly instead, just as a backup. - ie, hit H, then use top menu to get to settings As for the why, you may have recently installed another mod that default-assigned the ~ key to its hotkey set, and there's a terminal conflict. maybe...maybe not... idk slim but worth a look, imo. test for some hotkey issue should be easy enough Presuming you're able to make it to settings, reassign its hotkey to a known unused button. exit and test Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pressing J crashes the game as well, and H sadly does not do anything, if anyone figures this out please let me know! Update: Fixed the issue I think. AaronOfMpls Posted March 11 Share Posted March 11 (edited) For SKSE plugins like these, you might want to check Modding.wiki's SKSE Plugin Status, to make sure you have the right versions for your Skyrim SE version.
