Couldn't Be Read Correctly

I am trying to mod Baldurs Gate 3, and every single mod has the same message. Mod.pak couldn't be read correctly. This mod be incorrectly locked/unlocked but be default to unlocked.

I've never had this problem before, and I have literally worked the last 14 hours trying to get mods to work for this game. I have the version 1.9.10, and the cause of this error message is due to the LSLib/Divine Tool. I don't get the error message until I have to deploy this mod, which is required to mod the game.

I am having the same problem! I have some suspicions that it might have to do with mod manager and the script extender though...

Same here, I have to believe it's the manager. I was recently gifted a new computer. The old computer has the older version of vortex and works my current save just fine. The newer one did too... until the nexus update. I uninstalled & reinstalled bg3, the mods, and vortex. I tried downloading the mods straight from the site, got no luck there. When I go to my vanilla saves it seems only SOME of the mods work. I tied then getting the mods working with another manager after this, nope. But again it works just fine with my old laptop.

I'm far from an expert on this but just through my trial and error of what works, what doesn't, and what doesn't make a difference it seems that the mods get corrupted some how?

Like my save sees there is a pak file that it needs, but can't use it then crashes at the 75% mark loading a bg3 save file. I might have to start completely fresh on the this new computer.

So after some tinkering... seems like it was the update or something new. I had to not only downgrade to vortex 1.7.8 I had to pull my profile file order id file, my exact mod files, and my mod staging files from my old computer and then have Vortex select to revert using the staging folder. Simply redownloading the mods with the same update that was functional in the past didn't work. Using 1.9 had the same reading issue for some reason. After over 2 weeks I can finally finish the end of act 3! Oi! I'm gonna be honest with you here, I got Vortex because I wanted to be a bit lazy with my mods, if I don't have the convenience I was hoping to get then why I'm using Vortex?

Edit: update, I was able to get it to work. I ONLY had to reinstall windows and start from a clean boot. After having issues with the mod manager from GitHub and Vortex, I went through a dozen or so steps to find out my windows had some corrupted data issues that I couldn't fix. So, after reaching out to Microsoft support for help with the data issue, we did everything possible to fix it and it never did. They told me the last option was a clean install of windows and start over. This fixed whatever issue I was having.
