AndreChau
I find Far Harbor awkward to troubleshoot, so I am not sure if it's a mod issue or not. Symptoms: Do Blood Tide until Cassie awards you the workshop (after you kill the fog crawler). It appears on your map already as if you had interacted with the workshop, but it isn't registered correctly - e.g. happiness is at 20 and it doesn't change. I've tried disowning and reowning the workshop through assorted tools. I've tried different mods. I've tried restarting the game and only going to the starter for the far harbor quest chain by travelling to the kasumis. It's just that one workshop, I don't see any others behaving this way. I'm guessing something in the way that they scripted this one site makes it especially fragile. Usually if I see this, I can just reload an earlier save and redo the starter quest for a location, and I can get the settlement to register correctly. I've searched and I see over a decade of posts like "i can't assign settlers to dalton farm" and other people just reply with "just don't use it then" or "i never have any problems". I saw one where the happiness at 20 symptom was reported and the community just replied with how to hack the happiness, instead of seeing it as a red flag that the game has borked. It's a shame that there's no real path for people to get bethesda bugs fixed. I see a lot of clever scripting tools to claim settlements and check if they are working, but nobody seems to have any idea how to get around problems with the base game workshop registration script. 363rdChemicalCompany
Sorry to hear of your issue, never had some so cannot offer solutions. WHile Daltons farm is arguably one of the best settlement locations there you have others from Vanilla plus a couple of mod driven extra settlements on the Island. subaverage
Dalton Farm normally works fine. From what I see you use a mod called: "SKK Workshop Ownership Utilities" which seems to interfere heavily with the workshop system. So it might be a good idea to post your problem on the modpage here on nexus or visit the MA's discord server. Before you could try what someone posted on Reddit a long time ago (please make a save before): Open the console . Click on workshop to select it. Type in the following line: setpv OwnedByPlayer True Hit enter, close the console. Leave the settlement (like fast travel to a close location) and come back. That should give you the ownership. I don't know whether it helps in your case, but it might be worth a try. Good luck.
