RoNin1971 Posted January 7 Share Posted January 7 I don't know a thing about vortex, but by the looks of it: Vortex is trying to access a zip file but lacks the rights to do so. (line 1) As it appears to be happening during download (context), it means your (vortex's) access rights for the download directory of vortex are to tight. As is mentioned. (line 2) It can't write the downloaded data to your computer in that case. Why that is the case, I don't know. Depends on your settings for windows and/or vortex. 363rdChemicalCompany Posted January 7 Share Posted January 7 You can also do a manual download (unless that is what u were doing already ). This sometimes works better, I also sometimes get error messages on auto donwload tab . How to donwload mnaually? -Click the manual donwload button on nexus -from the Mods section of the Vortex profile you are using click "Install form file" -Browse for that zip file ( or .rar file) in your donwload folder and click that - Check if its now enabled in your mods list. Gomperthemodder Posted January 8 Author Share Posted January 8 Ok. so i tried the same method i did to download mods into vortex manager that are off nexus and i dropped it into the little box that says drop files here and it just worked????
