InDarkestNight Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 (edited) Game was running fine before without any issue, I even did a short playthrough. I installed the linux version of mod organizer, and now everything's going wrong. Its running the game in a window, and I can't find a way to change that. I also can't run the launcher anymore. The game is lagging, and the volume is also super low for some reason. I can install mods fine, but I don't see myself playing the game when its lagging, running in a window, and the volume is stupid low. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? InDarkestNight Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 I managed to get into skyrimprefs.ini and change it to windowed mode. This fixed the lag issue, though I'm still having volume issues. Think that may be a problem with my comp though. I've been having audio glitches ever since I installed ubuntu. Think I got Skyrim itself fixed now after messing with some things, so I guess that's working now at the very least.
zixi Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Great! That's good. Sound can be a pain in Linux. It is gradually being brought to heel but it can be a bit problematic at times.
