Can't log in because "Network is offline"

I can't log into vortex. If you take a look at the screenshot i included, the right upper corner the icon says "Network is offline"

But if you look at the left lower corner, it has the latest news about Palworld, which was uploaded on 1/24/24. 

Also, my computer is connected to the internet, since I can access everything else on the internet including this forum to write this question. 

I don't have any antivirus except the default Windows Security and I do not have VPN. 

I've tried:

-rebooting my computer

-re-installing the program to the latest 1.9.12 version 

-Adding Vortext to the allowed app list on Windows Security

-Trying different networks

 

Any help would be appreciated

Urso43 seems to have a similar problem as me. except I don't have a third-party antivirus program. I suppose I can wait and see if Urso43 replies to the thread if it helped.

I was more referring to the advice I gave in that thread would apply to you too. 

 

Something weird on your PC is preventing Vortex from even being able to see the internet connection.
