JimboUK
The alice body works fine with BNB and that skeleton, it also works fine with textures for any of the "type" bodies.

Does the BNB and skeleton work with just the armor portion?

Yeah they'll work with every armour, in 99% of cases armour contains it own body that replaces your characters one.

The BNB page shows pics of multiple body types...but one replacer?? Thing is, I like the look of Type 3 Alice because it's a more natural look, not anime big bouncy silliness, but will that work with BNB and the skeleton mod? Vanilla skeleton but a BnB Body = Your chest will stretch to the stars in game cause the bones have nowhere to go. BnB skeleton but you're using Type3A = No bouncing boobs as the bones for the body are missing. Simply, you cant just pair any body with the BnB skeleton, it doesn't work that way. Unless the body type states it has BnB it won't give you the desired effect.
Ophiucus68
OK, next question - can I use one body type for my character and another for NPCs?

I'm not concerned about bouncing boobs in FONV, body physics doesn't seem as prevalent as in FO4. HOWEVER, more fun clothing sets seem to be designed for BnB. I just don't care for the exaggerated chest. It's just a preference thing.

Yes but you'll need to install or create a custom race for your character. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/images/102834

My first reaction was, of course it won't be easy....but I made a bodygen mod for FO$ that makes all NPCs, characters, and player have different bodies so...work, work, work

There is something that's not in that guide, whenever you access the races in the GECK it will create a duplicate of an existing race, it's worth using FNVEdit to get rid of that duplicate once you've finished.
