SCHEUERMAN2
It'd be nice if I KNEW what mod that DLL file goes to so I can remove it... As it stands, that's the error I get with no idea what was causing it. I tried disabling the mod I THOUGHT was the culprit to no avail. I tried removing the related DLL and an ini file of the same name from the SKSE folder, and SKSE still reports an error there even when it's been deleted. Getting kinda irritated, much appreciation in advanced
scorrp10
You know, I googled po3_namedashpiles, and immediately got this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/97046?tab=files
SCHEUERMAN2
Weird that didn't pop up when I googled it. Added to that I don't have that mod... Could another mod be using its assets?
SCHEUERMAN2
Well I found out why it didn't show up when I searched, I looked for the .DLL file and the one in that post is the .ini file, but I don't have that mod regardless, weird
SCHEUERMAN2
To anyone finding this, I just deleted anything to do with Skyrim, reinstalled it, reinstalled the same mods and no problems Edited May 18 by SCHEUERMAN2

Could another mod be using its assets? Did you ever try it out in the past, and not quite remove all its files? Maybe it's still in your download history, if you were logged into the Nexus at the time. Or yah, maybe another mod used its .dll for something, or had Named Ash Piles merged into it. AaronOfMpls
I looked into this more. Name Those Ash Piles is a pure SKSE mod, with no .esm/.esp/.esl files in its installer. Its files are just a .dll and an .ini (in the LE version; SE versions have a .pdb file* too). As for its function, when an NPC turns into an ash pile when (re-)killed,** this mod forces the ash pile to have the NPC's name on it, instead of just "Ash Pile". * a database file -- likely of what the mod should apply to ** when a dead NPC is raised as a zombie or undead thrall, by a Reanimate spell or enchantment Edited March 1 by AaronOfMpls
