SpartanXeno
Hello! Thank you for stopping by. Now I am very new to modding entirely so I do apologise if terms or instructions go over my head a bit. I'll admit I'm not the most tech savvy person I know. I hope I can possibly get some assistance with an issue I have faced with my F:NV game and the mods I have installed. Namely the fact that for some reason, New Vegas is saying I am missing content from the mods I have downloaded. Although they are active in the Vortex Mod Manager The files are titled as "FCO-Russell.esp", "FCO-OHSB NPC Edits.esp" and "FCO-GlowingOne.esp". Most of these mods are ones I have been using in my playthrough totally fine till about a week ago. I've been trying different fixes but am unable to figure out how. I have tried simply turning them off and on again and still nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled them. Even attempted to go into the files within the game folder and everything *seems* to be there. I did try to fix a pink head issue with the "NPC Overhaul" mod before this started so if that can help anyone try and figure it out I hope it'll be helpful. I have also disabled the mod that was meant for the fix and yet still nothing is happening. I'd personally chalk it up to my own incompetence but that's to be expected. I'm pretty much out of any options I know of aside from completely reinstalling New Vegas as well as the mods to try and kick it back into place to run again. But of course if anyone can help I'd be more than thankful!
laclongquan
Did Vortex (in)validate those archives? It sound like Vortex doesnt realize those mods being installed, and so your game doesnt have those assets activated.

As far as I've know as long as I have it enabled and then hit deploy mods everything is fine. No missing masters messages show up nor is there any file conflicts
TenaciousDSquare
Assuming you didn't change/edit the default Vortex layout. On the left side under Mods, click on Plugins and make sure the plugins files (.esp) you listed above are checked. The Plugins tab is your actual Load Order. I just checked and can only see the "Russell.esp" out of the three I mentioned. However for the NPC overhaul mod it does have both a "FCO-NPC Changes.esp" and a "FCOMaster.esm" listed. Though I am unsure if that'll have any help I thought it'd be worth mentioning Also the Russell.esp is indeed turned on but I still get the message saying it is no longer there
TenaciousDSquare
I would suggest reinstalling the mods for the .esp files listed. In the Mods section right click the mod and choose "Reinstall". When it asks, choose the "Replace" option.

I swear I always get the funky as hell technical problems
TenaciousDSquare
1. Try disabling (uncheck) all the mods, in the Mods section, and reenabling (checking) them. I know it sounds like busy work, but it works in some situations. 2. If that does not work, try disabling all the mods except NVSE. Then enable the mods one-by-one and try launching the game. You can Quit at the Main Menu. Don't try to load any saves. You could corrupt them. 3. If that doesn't work, working backwards, starting at the last mod you installed, uninstall/remove the mods one-by-one. When you reach the point that the mods you listed above are gone, start reinstalling, again one-by-one, and try running the game (Quit at the Main Menu). 4. At this point if it still is not working do a clean reinstall. I don't know how many mods you have installed, but you will learn by doing. And if you mod, you'll be doing a lot of "doing" xD. Here is a guide. Fingers crossed it works And just as a theoretical question, if push comes to shove, could I just uninstall them all at once and then restarted and then redownloaded again would that work? TenaciousDSquare
Yes, a uninstall/reinstall is an option. That's basically step 4 above. It does look like to me something was deleted. Maybe not by Vortex, but gone nevertheless.
