csbx
and it's somewhat annoying. I've made the adjustment to 'create files in mod' in the executable for the CK .exe, but it still sends to overwrite occasionally. Any ideas ?
AaronOfMpls
Not offhand. I just move the files to where I want them when it happens.
csbx
Same here--yeah. Maybe it's bc I'm using the extended version of the CK or maybe it's MO2 not behaving.
IsharaMeradin
The MO2 behavior (when I last used it) was to put all NEW files in the overwrite folder. If there were one or more active instances of that file, the last loaded would get replaced. I have never seen a "create files in mod" option for either MO2 or the CK. Perhaps that is something newer that may not be functioning properly for all types of files. *shrug*

Yah, that's exactly what it does. You can then move them to whichever mod folder you want them in -- either in MO itself or in your OS's file manager. (I usually have to use my file manager myself, likely from a little Linux/Wine/Proton weirdness.) Edited March 8 by AaronOfMpls
