Hello, I'm new to the modding of fallout 4 and i need some assistance. The mods I'm trying to use is X-SENSUOUS with Fusion Girl and CBBE. The issue I'm having is how to set up my mod organizer with bodyside and creating my character. I've watched some videos on how to convert cbbe to fusion but all and all I'm very confused and was wondering if some can help me with the load order, creating my character, and setting it all up. Thank you.

You can't use both CBBE and Fusion Girl. They are different bodies.

CBBE uses the vanilla skeleton, and Fusion Girl uses the ZAZ Extended Skeleton (ZEX).

Fusion Girl is capable of supporting adult animations because it has actual genitals (not painted on genitals).

Fusion Girl has native support for OCBPC.

If you want to use CBBE with OCBPC, you should probably use the True Wasteland Body variation of CBBE which supports its own skeleton (though I can't guide you on that since I use Fusion Girl, not CBBE nor TWB).

As for Mod Organizer, I can't help with that either because I use Nexus Mod Manager Community Edition.

Finally, if you decide to go with Fusion Girl, you should probably also get a male body which supports ZEX Skeleton as well. I use BodyTalk for the male body, but there are a couple of other alternatives.

Interesting, i see now. I will be going with fusion then. Could you help walk me through the steps of batches, and or customize of character creation? I have discord.

Hi, acesao. Well, it's been about five years for me, but I'll go off memory. You might find better instructions on the FG page itself, but I'll do my best.

1. First you need to install the ZEX skeleton

2. Then you need to install Fusion Girl. If that page still has the vanilla outfits for FG, you'll want to install that as well.

3. Then you need to install OCBPC. You can use the default configuration or MrTroubleMaker's configuration. (I used MTM's but tweaked it a bit, but MTM's is still great out of the box).

4. Then you need to install a male body (such as BodyTalk)

5. Next you open BodySlide and batch build all the Fusion Girl outfits to your preferred body preset. And after that you build all the male bodies with your preferred preset.

6. After that you've got the basics of Fusion Girl and male body installed and ready with the default outfits.

7. On Loverslab in the Home->Fallout 4->Fallout Adult Mods->Request & Find there's a thread with links to nearly every Fusion Girl conversion of non-vanilla outfits. You should check that thread out to see if there's anything you want to install or if there's a conversion for something you already have.

8. You can stick with the default FG and BodyTalk skin textures, or you can install any skin texture which says it's Fusion Girl compatible (you need it to be FG ready because FG has actual genitals which CBBE doesn't, so you need the texture to also be present for the labias. I use FSM 8k Skin textures, but there are many others. Radiation Queen is also a good pick if you want dirty, gritty skin which still looks great.

That's the basics. That'll get your game converted to FusionGirl (and potentially BodyTalk if you take that route).

If you have specific questions I'll do my best to answer. I try to check this forum a few times a day 🙂

p.s. If I recall correctly, the Fusion Girl might ask you if you want to install BodyGen. This is a feature in which you build all outfits to zero sliders, and then NPCs will randomly be given a different body shape when you first meet them. I do not use this. I control my body shapes in BodySlide, not in LooksMenu. You'll still want to have LooksMenu installed, but not necessarily with BodyGen.

I use CBBE for my NPC girls.

It is the most common body version, so outfits and the like are more plentiful and some fantastic bodyslides exist.

Power users often prefer fusion girl since its a bit more realistic and some some better features, but CBBE is good enough for me. Just my 2 cents though I defer to Karnas greater experience . Who knows if I were to start over I might use fusion girl but I really enjoy the large selection of outfits and bodyslides that are available for CBBE. (my Piper has an awesome hour glass figure now!) and the femine walk , sitting , standing animation mods also work great on CBBE.

EDIT: CBBE has flaw when you girl is kneeling, depending which direction you take your playthrough there may be  a lot of that. There is a mod to fox that but it may cause other issues. As for me I just ignore that.

*Nods* CBBE is much easier to install, as you said. Nearly everything has a Fusion Girl conversion now, but for people who just want plug and play with no need of adult mods, CBBE is what I usually recommend to them.

CBBE can't be/do some things, but my best guess is 90% of Fallout players don't care about such things, so 90% of Fallout 4 is better off using CBBE or an offshoot of it.

For another thing, I enjoy converting outfits to FG in Outfit Studio and BodySlide. So for me it's not a chore. It's relaxing and fun 🙂

p.s. I converted another outfit mashup for myself about an hour ago.
