worstgamereverRK
My friend is trying to get into modding skyrim and whenever he tries to launch it with skse, it says he is using a out-of-date version even when he is using the correct one. We have tried reinstalling it through vortex and by putting it manual into the skyrim folder itself and it keeps saying it. He did use a cracked version but decided to buy the game instead. You'll get zero support here if he's still using a cracked version. (Nexus admins are pretty strict about that, to the point of banning people over it.) Has he tried on a legit install yet? scorrp10
Completely erase the cracked version. Including everything in Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition, except maybe the Saves folder. Download and install from scratch the purchased version. Run it at least once so that configuration files are properly formed. Set up you mod manager of choice, set it to manage SSE. Get SKSE and install it through mod manager
