Guest deleted47013206
hi i'm using a mod for my dragon age origins & awakenings it is called: Unlock All Achievements auc i've downloaded it with vortex and it looks like its in the list but none of the achievements unlock when i'm in game I've started a new game (i figured to start a fresh play session (a Test character) one for to see if it was working I have the EA App installed and have the game fully installed with the latest versions of both the game and the vortex mod manager.... either the mod isn't working or i'm missing something it mentioned to add it to the overide file but i don't see an option to do so in the vortex mod manager and i don't know how to do a manual install of it if that's what is nessesary If anyone can help me that would be kool (it's probably something im unaware of to do in the steps for installing the mod)
HollownessDevoured
@Scarhunter75 Isn't manual install just extracting and placing the file in your override* folder? *Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override Also it looks like this mod requires console commands. Do you have Make CONSOLE commands visible? Do you know how to runscript?
LaurellaBellaBean
I haven't heard good things about using Vortex to mod Dragon Age: Origins. The recommended mod manager is DAO-ModManager. I'm new to modding DAO but so far I've been using the DAO mod manager for .dazip files and installing everything else manually. And by "manually" I mean I'm taking the files/folders and dragging and dropping them into my Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override folder. I'm not using complicated mods, however. Some mods need to be installed differently but the mod's description page should tell you that.
