dedsince06
Multiple profiles were working ok with minor freezing due to overhaul. Just ran into this issue last night. I can’t change the base path but can view the mod files that Vortex cannot access. I don’t know how to change it or allow Vortex access so it can fix the problem. It brings the same error message with 3 other mods like “BLD_helper”. actual message: Vortex needs to access "c\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\BLD_Helper.dil* but it either has too restrictive permissions or is locked by another process. If your account has admin rights Vortex can try to unlock the file for you. Please close the following applications and retry: Fallout4, exe (27580) Fallout4 exe (27596) Anyone have a solution for this? I can’t play my main profile but I can play my secondary profile when I restored the plugins for it. So confusing.
Pickysaurus
Try restarting your PC. According to the message, you still have the game open.
dedsince06
I tried updating the drivers with support and restarting. Still didn’t work. Re installing the game and vortex but the somehow the errors still come up. Tried changing the permissions in the plugin folder that it can’t access but still doesn’t work. About to tear my hair out.
