Reverting on steam?

I'm new when it comes to modding FO4, and I completely forgot about today's update.
Is there any way to revert my game version on steam? or do I just have to wait dont know how long until the stuff gets fixed?

There's not an easy way to do this. If you don't mind paying £9 you can grab the GOG version and use that to load the older version?

Hold off playing & modding for a while until an updated F4SE version is released. Believe me I'm in the same boat as you after the Fallout TV series exploded in popularity.  Season 2 won't hit the screen before end of 2025 at the absolute earliest so we have a while yet to get our Fallout fix

As suggested by @Pickysaurus, here is a short summary of the ongoing thread on how to rollback fallout4 April-2024 update on steam on PC when using the F4SE mod to launch the game.

note credit goes to multiple other people,( @ianpatt,  @Destructionares , ...)  I am just copying and pasting the other thread in one "sticky" place

 

 

1) disable auto-updates from steam's fallout4 properties (select update only on start), and don't start fallout4 from steam, only start it from F4SE

2) install steamcmd on your computer 
Install steamcmd.exe from here and login to your Steam account with login {username} {password} if you're using Steam Guard, you'll be prompted to enter that as well.

3) download older "depot" patches to overwrite files which were broken by the April-2024 update and delete Data/ccBG*

If it helps others... this is a copy of my screen running the commands as you suggested and it seems to work fine... I was able to continue where I left off including with "A storyWeath" collection which includes tons of mods... 
notes in my case:

• steamcmd in i:\steamcmd\
• fallout is installed in "I:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4"

so you will have to adapt accordingly (also I did copy the files in the patch number order, 61 before 62 before 63.... ) I bolded what I had to type
