geistxx
I had to mention things going FUBAR didn't I? :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: Can't get the blasted dialogue working... :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: Try again in the morning... I'M Still wishing for an update to the sps for oblicion PLZ :thanks:
ComVlad
Holy crap i don't check the forums for a day and you post a detailed update AND SC posts news on Wasteland Player maybe there is something to that whole "watched pot never boils" idea. And boy when you expand you really expand. I knew you were gonna be adding plenty but more then 40+ NPCs and a multi-level system for them (so does the dialogue differ for the different levels or is a different stats effect?) as well as custom clothing and models for those npcs, is freaking impressive. Cant wait to try it out.
TheOzoneHole
I'M Still wishing for an update to the sps for oblicion PLZ :thanks: And you will be until the re-build of the base SPS mod is done. I can't port what does not yet exist. The original version of SPS has already been ported by someone else. LinkThat version is far less detailed than mine will be when it is done. As I said, if it doesn't work for Morrowind, it won't work for Oblivion. I've spoken with several other mod authors and they are providing what help they can. And finally, this is not my only modding project. I have some things for Fallout I'm trying to work on, and there is something else for Fallout that I really really want to work on but haven't had the time because I said I'd get this done first. There are several people pestering me about this. Please give me some time.

Cant wait to try it out. I've gone a bit farther than I planned and added a Prostitute faction to the game. I can't quite seem to add ranks yet, but I'll get it sooner or later. Nothing is different between the levels except what they are wearing, sorry. I've got two sets of dialogue (one for the prostitutes, and one for male & female commoners with the player) and neither of them is working. The Prostitute in Seyda Neen (who I put in to test with) has the new "My Trade" dialogue, but niether her special service dialogue or the topic for the players work are highlighted. Admitedly the topic for the player shouldn't be with her, but it doesn't seem to be adding to the players list...gosh I'm stupid. Back in a bit. :verymad: Balls. Didn't work. :wallbash: Well, while in the CS trying to get that darn dialogue to work I finished up the faction. This will be PC joinable, but I need to write in the scripting for that. (And I'm not quite sure how...) {Please note that I don't know what the censor is going to tag, so this might not all look the way it should.} Lowest level is Virgin, only the player will have accest to this rank. Basicly it is the same as Hireling for the great houses. I.e. your the n00b in town. 1st level up (lowest prostitute level) Street girlfriend. Everyone should be able to get this easy, no faction respect requirement and prime skill at 35 & secondary at 15 is no trouble for even a level 1 character. 2nd is Well Known Rag. You'll really have to push yourself, Attributes at 45 each (Attributes are Agility and Personality btw), prime skill at 45, secondary at 20 with faction rep of 5. (You'll get that by 'working' but that is in development.) 3rd is "Angel". Attribute requirements at 60 same with prime skill (???) and secondary at 30 with rep of 10. 4th (this is the highest Prostitute you'll see in game) is Pampered Pet. Attributes at 75 with prime skill at 80, secondary at 50 with rep of 25. 5th and final is King's Mistress. Attributes at 85, prime skill at 90, secondary skills at 75, with rep of 50! Now, I'm looking at house Redoran, and for Archmagister they only want attributes of 35, with prime skill at 90 and 35 for secondary skills and a faction rep of 125. I decided to do it the way I am because the basic game is trying to allow you to join as many factions as possible. I'm not. If you join this faction (how, where, etc are IDK yet) I am assuming that you are going to do what it takes to rise in rank. At the moment I'm thinking that it will take 10 'actions' to get 1 point of faction rep. So that comes out to 500 'actions' for your fifty points of faction rep. Attributes and skills are your lookout. (Though I'll admit that sometimes the game will let you rise in faction rank even without the skill requirements being met. Whether or not that will work here, again, IDK.) Admitedly this is all pointless if the dialogue doesn't work.
TheOzoneHole
By Azura and the Divines I am the biggest FREAKING IDIOT........ :wallbash: I forgot to change PC Personality from = to >=. God I can be so STUPID. Edit;Well, that fixed one out of two... Edit;YES! Fixed it. Okay, dialogue is up and working. You need to find a commoner and ask about "My Trade." The dialogue topic will be added to the list via the results box script from their "My Trade" dialogue. This is the fastest way to do it with the least intursion on existing dialogue. What is left is as follows:Place rest of ProstitutesAdd clothing (I'm getting help from Dereko on this)Add scripts and such for faction system ---- Canceled this. For version 1 of re-build faction will be for NPC prostitutes only. Version 2 (time and date very much unknown) this will be added in. Edit:I figured out the problems with the clothing, I've never used better bodies clothing in a mod before. So I just need to add the rest and that will be done. You arn't the one who is bugging me about it geistxx. I'm sorry that the post came out so harsh, it is just that I'm trying to do a lot, and Real Life is intruding rather more than I'd like. By re-building SPS for Morrowind and then porting the re-build to Oblivion that gives something that I know works a fresh life in a different game. Plus, I don't mod for Oblivion much any more, and most of what I did do was basic tweaks that I never released. In other words, I've never done dialogue or scripting for Oblivion. I want to make sure the Morrowind version works. And as this will be my first "official" Oblivion mod, I want to know what I've done works before I have to start trying to figure out where the errors are. As you can see from my comments on the Morrowind version, I've had problems and I want the Oblivion version to work okay. Finally, my copy of Oblivion has been having some...issues is the closest word that works. It doesn't like some of what I've got installed and has been letting me know by random CTDs. (Also, this is a warning, I use HGEC body replacer for Oblivion and that is what the clothing will be made for.) This means that I might get crashes when everyone else doesn't. Edit:I figured out the problems with the clothing, I've never used better bodies clothing in a mod before. So I just need to add the rest and that will be done. I've been thinking about this, and I'm going to do the following: Merchants and Trainers will be in Black clothing (see screenshot on SPS main page).Edit: Merchants will be part of the CT as per ComVlad's request.Prostitutes will be in white. (Yes, deliberate joke.)Highest level prostitutes will have either black or white translucent clothing, so if you can see through the garment of a girl in black it means she isn't a merchant or trainer. The Faction (as above) will be for version 2. Version 2 will come out after version 1 (duh) is posted and confirmed as working. Also after version 1 has been released for Oblivion unless I encounter serious problems with the Oblivion version. The faction will exist in version 1, but be player hidden. Version 1 might or might not be a master file. Version 2 will be a master unless I encounter major problems with making it a master. After version 1 is finished I will go back and make the Farmers & Herders, Warriors, & Barbarians into re-build type SPS mods. Work will then begin on the Oblivion version of SPS. Version 2 of the basic mod will include a new area/land mass. This will be a "home" for the prostitutes, I'm currently planning a small island off the coast. It will contain a large temple, with a prostitute-ish theme (read: lots of nudity). (Smilar to the old Libra mod, if anyone has seen that. Without the bugs though.) This will be somthing of a trial run, as I've never made a new landmass/world space before. That might actually come in a seperate mod.Version 2 will have faction rank specific dialogue, and the number of sceens will go up based on how "high class" the girl is. (Lowest rank might only suck you off or screw, highest will go...farther. Some might only cater to males or females, some might do both.) That is the current plan/adgenda. Need to place some prostitutes, later.
TheOzoneHole
All the girls are part of the faction, save the Dunmer Merchants who are CT. (I can't add them to more than one faction, sadly.) Please be aware that due to the default AI packages that come with all basic NPCs, the girls move around on their own. They shouldn't leave their cell without a follow pack attached and I won't test that before releasing the mod. I see no reason for it to cause problems as nothing they say or do is cell specific. Sadrith Mora change: The Imperial Prostitute is in Dirty Muriel's Corner Club. The Dunmer Prostitute Merchant is in Fara's Hole in the Wall (downstairs). I'm adding a second Prostitute to the fort, just a basic Wood Elf walker. Pelagiad: The Redguard prostitute is in Fort Pelagiad: South Wall. This is where the Legion barracks are, so that is where she was placed. The other two are in the tavern. Suran: The prostitute is NOT in the house of earthly delights. As there are a number of mods that change the HoED (yeah, catch that acronym) Dancers, I'll be doing them as an add-on rather than as part of the main mod. The girl is in the tradehouse, which is hidden up on the hill behind the slave market and the clothing shop. Moonmoth: In the barracks, which are part of the main interior. Gnaar Mok: Street walker. Fort Darius change: Reduced to 1 (the high elf), trainer (Imperial) added to Gnisis tradehouse, third added as a streetwalker (Dunmer). The prostitute for Gnisis is in the tradehouse downstairs near the legion officers quarters, as planned. About half the towns done; Vivec, Balmora, Ald'Ruhn, and Ebonheart + Dren's Plantation to do yet.
TheOzoneHole
Dren Plantation: I've made some changes to the interior of Dren Plantation's main house. I did some looking and the only bedroom is in the basement. WTF? I fixed this by making the area by Orvas Dren a bedroom rather than storage. The girl inside will NOT work for the player. There is a reason for that, and I'm not telling. So there. :P Balmora: The South Wall has both a merchant and a Prostitute. The Wood Elf street waker is in the market square, the Dunmer is on the other side of the river near the enterence to the South Wall. The Trainer is on the roof of the Council Club. (You can see her when you exit the Strider.) Ald'Ruhn: Ald Skar Inn is downstairs in one of the rooms on your right. Arobar Manor is in the Guard Quarters, & a second one back in the private quarters. The merchant is in The Rat in the Pot. The Trainer is in the Redoran Council Hostel. One of the wakers isn't on the streets, she is in the manor district. Ebonheart: One in the Hawkmoth Legion Garrison, one in the Six Fishes, one in the Imperial Guard Garrison, and one walking. Ghostgate: Prostitutes are on the lower levels of Tower of Dawn and Tower of Dusk. Trainer is on main floor of Dawn, merchant is on main floor of Dusk. That only leaves Vivec City. That is going to be tomorrow nights work. Besides, I haven't actually played Morrowind in about three months. TTFN.
