IlComico
Hi, I don't know if this is my fault but the mods I create don't access vanilla files. Edited May 11, 2024 by IlComico
IlComico
I wanted to update my situation, I understood how the creation kit works and it is very useful... In the creation kit the connections are made when I start the game........ The game blocks access to .ba2 files and textures, .nif, vanilla meshes
worm82075
Individual textures are not registered to a specific plugin so the game is looking for those assets in a BA2 that matches the name of your plugin. If you want to use textures from another plugin (ie; vanilla) you will have to access them with a material swap that was created by that other plugin. the only way around this is to clone the assets you are trying to use and include them in your own BA2.

I realize this may have seemed pretty obvious, but thanks anyway for clarifying it
