We need a mod that actually adds an alternative to the courier!

Long all we've had is Provincial Courier Service, a mod made by a shitty mod author who doesn't even deserve to be named. Trying again for more than a few levels, I've found it doesn't do a damned thing unless you own a house! I'm using a mod home, and the only mailbox nearby is for Proudspire, the most expensive and worthless home in the entire game! So I have to buy this house just so the courier will leave me the f*#@ alone? Really?

I despise him so much. I also hate how seemingly every mod quest gives him another reason to harrass you. We really desperately need an alternative. I'm not even willing to play the game anymore BECAUSE I'M SO SICK OF BEING PARALYZED AND JUMPSCARED BY HIM. He's turned the game into a survival horror game for me, seriously. Something desperately needs to be done about him. Yes, there's a mod that just completely disables him, but that locks you out of half the game, along with pretty much all mod quests!

Why has no one ever addressed this major glaring issue? We have a fix for seemingly everything in the game other than the vile courier. Even a mod that makes him kill-able would be better than nothing. At least you could kill him and never have to face him again after you've gotten all the letters for the questlines that you need. Thinking about it, maybe I need to make Heartbreaker a part of my core load order. That would let me kill the courier at least. f*#@ that npc to hell.

I always liked the courier goat myself. I believe there's a courier ghost for Shattered Skyrim, come to that.

That is NOT want I meant. I meant we should have an alternative to having the stupid courier FREEZING US AT RANDOM TIMES. I'm sick of being frozen for over 10 seconds and listening to this stupid same lines every single time the game needs to be give me a quest. We should have a mod like Provincial Courier Service, but one that can deliver to generic mailboxes for better compatibility with home modes. It would be wonderful if the mod could deliver to the dragonborn gallery, but Arthmoor being the dumbass that he is, will never ever dare make a patch for someone else's mod! He does openly believe he's the only one who has the right to make mods, and loves to slander other mod authors among other things.

We need an more tolerable mail system. I hate the courier more than any other npc in the game, and I'm sick of having no way to deal with him other than a mod that completely disables him, thus making half the quests in even an unmodded game impossible to acquire.

First off, Thistle just bleats. (I mean, there is the option that talks as per His Annoyance, but I'm smarter than a lukewarm rock and never use that).

Second, the means to cut down on those quest beginning hassles exist if those people smarter than either of us make use of things like The Choice Is Yours, Notice Board, At Your Own Pace, or Timing Is Everything.

f*#@ you and your jokes, this is something that is DESPERATELY NEEDED.

I keep having the courier ambush me in areas he clearly shouldn't be able to access INCLUDING DAEDRIC REALMS. Also, just now, I had him jump out of nowhere and stun lock me while I was listening to some mod npc's dialogue for the first time. I didn't get to hear it, on my very first playthrough BECAUSE OF THE COURIER.

He's seriously detrimental to mods. This is why I don't play with Sofia; she randomly stops you from hearing npc dialogue. Turns out, the courier does the same damned thing. Why do we not have another alterantive mail system than Provincial Courier Service??? What, do I need to rush becoming thane of Solitude just so I never have to deal with this utterly worthless npc ever again?

That said, I have found a mod that completely disables him. I was just thinking; could I use that aloneside Provincial Courier Service? Would I still be able to get mail in my mailbox? Would this stop me from getting mail only up to the point I got Proudspire? That would fix so many problems.

This is something that is despeately needed. He renders the game borderline unplayable. I'm starting to think he was yet another ploy to stop people from using mods, even though he was part of the vanilla game from the start, BECAUSE HE JUST DOES THAT MUCH HARM.

Either way, I'm starting to think that simply disabling him is the better option. It'll lock you out of a lot of questlines, including from mods, but its not like you can play any mod quests with him enabled anyway! Playing without him would be far better than having access to all quests.

Well, I've since found out that you DON'T have to become thane of Solitude to buy Proudspire. At least now the courier will never harrass me again. Its still a super expensive buy, but due to a mod I got more cash than I know what to do with, so its all good. Any price really is worth getting the courier to f*#@ off. We still need a better solution to him though.

I'm not joking, you realize, but your Courier issues are severe, for sure. I honestly hate Courier Ambushes, too. Way, way too many mods and Bethesda DLC/Creation elements bap you with these things at the very start.

I'll be honest. I named the vanilla Courier Todd. If you knew how badly I hate Todd "Mod-breaker" Howard for his endless campaign to make the game unplayable with mods aside from Thirty Bucks Per Pixel Per Second ($30.00/pixel/second) you'd know why my naming any character Todd is a sign he needs to die in a goddamn fire!
