Vortex is up to date all that jazz

I made a collection of my mods and uploaded it to vortex, set it all up.

Fallout 4

I went to my collections and I had duplicate of the collection I uploaded. I deleted one and it deleted all my mods. I cant find anything on how to get them back. I looked in setting and see database backup. I cant find anything about what that actually means. I am restoring off the duplicate hoping i get back all my mods. But im scared my load orders will be all messed up. Why would deleting a collection delete all my mods? Im shaking, im so heart broken. I worked so hard to learn everything and get it right. i dont know what to do. Its like one drive all over again. Delete a back up and it deletes everything on your computer. wtf :(:(:(:(:( and while im typing vortex keeps popping up to download mods and im pressing buttons and it skips a few with no way to go back. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE :(:(:(:(:(
