Shadowrun at least on the genesis was awesome, Never really got into the snes one. I've been thinking of starting a new game on it, A upto date one that stayed true to the sega version would be sweet, I know a online fps came out with the name and I hadn't heard anything about it when I spotted the box somewhere but a little reasearch and I gather it wasn't that deep of a game so I passed.

I'm guessing form the fact you're saying 'genesis' and not 'mega drive', you're american? I never owned eiher game, looks good, but strangley, it was the exact opposite here in the UK - everyone loved the snes one and hated the MD version.

I've got the Shadowrun game for the Xbox360, but it's got pretty much nothing to do with previous Shadowrun lore. It's still pretty fun though.

you could easily do a shadow run MOD for fallout3 as they are essentially the same quest base layout...maybe someone needs to make a nice big city with tons of interior cells and then just have people mod quests into it endlessly...would be loopy but fun...like fo3 meets gta4

The Genesis/Megadrive version rocked.

The (MQ)story was kinda lame, but you had a TON of skills to invest in. A cyber world to hack, which was damn fun in it's self. Upgradeable, very expensive computers and programs of different quality with which to hack it. Mercenary friends for hire. Murdering civillians and police. Lying your way out of tough situations. Connections helping you out of tough situations. Bribing public officials to delete your criminal record or issue you weapon permits. Real time combat. Cybernetic implants. (Must. Spend. ALL. Essence...) Magic (I was never fond of the magic aspect though, I liked the weapons and implants) Upgradeable weapons. Joining gangs. Picking locks. Or blowing doors off their hinges...

Heady stuff for the lowly Genesis.

The Super Nintendo version was cool too, but didn't have run and gun combat or follow the lore too closely.
