LarannKiar Posted May 30 Share Posted May 30 I haven't encountered this bug though I rarely rename ships. I made a Rename Anyone and Almost Anything SFSE plugin earlier but the engine stores custom names in one single data structure so if the issue is not with the menu rename code but the with the ships themselves (which is more likely and sounds similar to the "automatrons' names" get reset bug from Fallout 4 where the native code purges name data along with other special object reference data unexpectedly), then it won't (can't) fix this bug and the ships' editor defined base data would need to be corrected.
