After 10 Days Away From Lakewood Manor...

Recommended Posts

Yep, the 'disable' command works like markfordelete, it is just immediate, and does not remove the item from the game, so hopefully it won't be replaced...  Try disabling just one, and come back later to check on that object.  If it works, then go crazy disabling stuff.

I tried the 'disable' command and it didn't work.  I guess the 'disable' command doesn't work for technical reasons.  I mean it works, but the files for items have been made in a way that doesn't allow it to work like it used to in older versions of Skyrim...  At least, that's what is being described in this conversation...

What do you guys think about his explanation?

I'm still open to ideas, if anyone has any.

That's your problem. When the cell resets things return to their original editor (Creation kit) position. You need to change their editor position by dragging them down underground with the creation kit or possibly just select each item and unclick the respawn check box on each item so they will not respawn. Myself I would simply drag them underground so they would respawn there out of sight. This would really be a simple mod to make. There really is no other way to stop the constant respawning other than returning to the house every 8-9 days so it never resets.

Oi!
Bom dia!

Hey!
Good morning!

The “markfordelete” command only works for Mods. If you want to remove an item from the Mod, this command is ideal.

But if you use this “markfordelete” command directly in SkyrimSE, when the system restarts, the items will return, and what's worse, mixed in local, as is in your image.

The only way to solve this problem, as far as I know, is to follow the recommendations of user @greyday01. Develop a Mod with your modifications and leave it at the end of the list.

Why this way?

Because it's a guarantee from the system that if someone deletes an item from the game by accident and breaks the game, the system comes back with that item again.

And as your Mod is at the end of the queue, the modified items are placed again where you decided to leave them.

Oi!
Bom dia!

Hey!
Good morning!

This occurs when you use the Steam button for your Mod Manager.

If you don't use it, then it could be an outdated Mod, as the first is from 2016 and the second from 2017, updated until 2022 (1.5.73).

These Mods have not kept up with Steam technology for more updated versions. It may even be that these Mods do not work correctly in version 1.5.97.

Then what is the point of Placable Statics and Jaxonz Positioner, if the game is gonna do what it wants anyway?  😠

Those mods will work on items YOU bring into the area. It is difficult using grab to place items on shelves for example. Mostly they end up upside down or knocking other items off the shelf.  Jaxonx can place a row of skulls or other items where you want them and since they are items YOU put there and not items originally at that location they will stay. For example, if you go into the house and drop a shield on the floor it will stay there until you pick it up because it was never there to start with and so doesn't have a respawn flag. For completely redecorating a vanilla home, you need to make the changes in a mod. Really, it is not hard. And also fun.

Oi!
Bom dia!

Hey!
Good morning!

There is also another detail…

Let's say you get a Command that will keep your items in the place you modified them in SkyrimSE.

When your game breaks, because we know it will at some point (this is Skyrim), then you will lose all your work.

The security you will have when modifying these locations in a Mod guarantees your work, even if the game breaks.}

Just create a New Game and add the Mod.
