RazzledBerries
I had been able to download mods earlier today, but I just updated Vortex and am now getting this path error. TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'path') at checkEngineVersion (C:\Users\Razzl\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Vampire Survivors Support v2.2.2\index.js:114:42) at testSupportedContentOldEngine (C:\Users\Razzl\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Vampire Survivors Support v2.2.2\index.js:192:29) at Object.testSupported (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:10094:35) at InstallManager.getInstaller (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:4485:128) at C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:4486:203 at tryCatcher (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\util.js:16:23) at Promise._settlePromiseFromHandler (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:547:31) at Promise._settlePromise (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:604:18) at Promise._settlePromise0 (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:649:10) at Promise._settlePromises (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\promise.js:729:18) at _drainQueueStep (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:93:12) at _drainQueue (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:86:9) at Async._drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:102:5) at Async.drainQueues (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\node_modules\bluebird\js\release\async.js:15:14) at process.processTicksAndRejections (node:internal/process/task_queues:95:5) I am trying to download into my Stardew Valley folder, I have not used Vortex for Vampire Survivors in a few months, so I am not sure why it is showing up. I can run what I currently have downloaded, i just can't download/update anything. My mod staging folder, game folder and game mod folder seem to be correct, but my mode staging folder is lowercase (stardew valley > mods) while my game folder and game mod folder are capitalized (Stardew Valley) (Stardew Valley > Mods). I am not sure if that changes anything. I do not know what they were before I updated Vortex. I've opened and closed Vortex a few times, as well as reset my computer - it didn't fix it. Any help would be appreciated!
Pickysaurus
This appears to be an issue with the Vampire Survivors extension. You can try removing it if you're not currently modding that game.

Solution Pickysaurus Posted June 2, 2024 Solution Share Posted June 2, 2024 3 hours ago, RazzledBerries said: The only game I'm managing is Stardew Valley. If you take a look at the first line of your error, you'll see "C:\Users\Razzl\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Vampire Survivors Support v2.2.2\index.js" which means you have installed it at some point. If it's triggering logic for Stardew Valley there is a fault in the extension. You should remove it and/or report the issue to the extension developer. I didn't realize that the extension was different from managing it lol
