Novautin
I am upgrading my PC in the next week and I don't want to lose my Vortex settings and conflict rules. I currently backup everything to an external hard drive and I normally just recover everything from it on a hard drive upgrade. But this time I'm switching to a new PC that has Windows 11 pre-installed on it and I don't want to overwrite it with the backup of Windows 10. I know I'll have to reinstall Vortex on the new OS but I want to keep my current Vortex settings. All of my mods will be fine as they are on a separate drive away from the OS but I'm concerned that there may be settings files that I may not be aware of that will need to be transferred. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Solution Pickysaurus Posted June 10, 2024 Solution Share Posted June 10, 2024 Your post has been moved to the correct forum. It's a bit awkward to find now, but there are docs for this here: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/wiki/MODDINGWIKI-Users-General-Moving-Vortex-to-a-new-PC
