How do I redirect Vortex so that it uses the steam version of Fo4 instead of the MS/Xbox app version

Just to start off, I am very new to using mods and vortex so be patient. 
I am currently trying to figure out how to get vortex to manage the Steam version of Fo4 instead of the MS version as I am trying to use F4SE. 
So far, I have found basically nothing helpful and I'm extremely lost as to what I'm doing. I simply cannot intuit what I am supposed to do to get it to switch over.

Go to the games tab, find fallout 4 and use the little menu on the tile to manually point it to another game folder
