PopcornTime Posted June 23 Share Posted June 23 How can I stop Vortex to order plugins alphabetically and destroying the correct load order I assigned after each new Mod download? Keelo6969 Posted June 23 Share Posted June 23 I was having that issue too after the June 16th update. Not quite sure exactley how ot was done, But if my memory does try and serve me correct. I believe, I made a backup of my plugins.txt file in proper order, load up vortex, check load order, if alphabatized, close vortex, deleted plugins.txt, pipelinecache file and creations file txt file. Then copied my backup plugin.txt to dir and reopened vortex. I'm trying to do this from memory, so if that doesnt work, reverse the last step and start vortex before coping your backup plugins file. I might have done this a couple of times, not sure, but eventually I keeps my load order all time now and placing all the BGS files at top (originally vortex kept putting them last). When they added Creations they included load order sorting. A lot of problems are caused by the game itself reordering things. Keelo6969 Posted June 23 Share Posted June 23 True. I was more talking when you see them in the load order in vortex. It was placing at bottom and had to keep moving them up. One wierd thing though, when I did a 'report load order' it list the full masters in plugin order, then small, same load order as plugin, the mediums. BGS 008 & 007 ( which are smalls) are loaded in the middle of all the smalls as is with BGS 003 & 006 are loading in the middle of the medium esm's. Is this normal?
