Mod Idea - Sea Monsters

Could someone make a mod that adds terrifying sea monsters like the Kraken and Leviathan, as well as Lovecraftian Horrors like Cuthulu to the game? The sea just needs those intense terrifying moments where if you venture too far into the depths you'll find a massive horrifying monster that will one-shot you. These creatures also need custom sounds that are like a distant ominous echo that acts as a warning that you're getting close to one or are being hunted by one.

I love the pictures! 🤩

Mihail used to have some sea creature mods. There was one that had giant sea snakes, and another that had giant octopus and squids... Can't find them at the moment, so maybe he hid them for updating. If only Sea of Spirits was still in active development! It had such potential.  🐳

Sadly true. There was one thing--a sort of behavior editor--that worked really great back in Skyrim LE (which I still play), but it affected a lot of other things as well--it took me YEARS to realize that it was the cause of the ship-to-Raven Rock scene breaking. I removed it a while back, but I feel its loss keenly: The best thing about it were the abilities to attack while jumping and fight underwater. ❤️‍🩹

I feel your pain! A recent breakage of the pop-up has made AddItemMenu cease to function and I feel the loss keenly. I will say that there are several things that break the ship sequence... I sorry your behavior editor is one of them, it sounds sublime.

(Personally, I wish that someone would make Fuz-Ro-DAH!! and other appropriate Shouts penetrate the surface of the water. The Unrelenting Force, in particular, would be a brilliant substitute for dynamite fishing!)

In situations with dense fog like in the movie "The Mist," eerie gigantic creatures could appear, swimming through the air as if they were in the ocean.

It might also be a good idea to add dungeon entrances to the seafloor.

There is now a personal boating spell mod, which might dovetail nicely with a sea monster mod. New aquatic glowing "plants" (as many will be like coral  and/or tubeworms) would need to be set for fully undersea caves/dungeons, along with air pockets, thermal pockets for any vulcanism, and so forth.

Uhhh I mean in-game only of course!  Honestly I hope I never go into an ocean or even a sea (IRL obviously).  I've swam in one of the Great Lakes once, that was enough for me 😅
