Vortex not seeing mods manually placed in its Downloads folder

Hello friends,

I'm on Vortex 1.11.7 and using it for Fallout 4. I began downloading some mods and then realized I ALREADY had many of them saved on another drive. So I cancelled the downloads.

My Vortex downloads folder is:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\Downloads

 

• I cut-paste the mods from the other drive into the folder above.
• However Vortex is not seeing them.
• It only shows mods I downloaded from within Vortex. Windows File Explorer shows 42 items but Vortex shows 31.

How to get Vortex to show these mods I manually dropped into its downloads folder?

Did you restart Vortex after adding them? 

You're better off adding the files in the actual UI rather than manipulation of the folders.

There's a zone to drop archives at the bottom of the mods table
