It may be an unpopular opinion but...

My previous negative opinion about Vortex is changing, though I still won't use it yet.

I don't think functionality is a good enough reason to change because all three mod managers function perfectly well for their users, so it's actually sensible your assessment of vortex is positive but that you're not switching.

The only reason to actually change mod managers is ease of use. To me, NMMCE is the easiest to use (based on films I've watched of Vortex and MO2 and compared to my experiences with NMMCE).

When Nexus Mod's new mod manager comes out, I'll assess it based on ease of use, and if it's easy enough for a blind person who is reading impaired, I'll happily switch--not because it's better but because it's easier.

Yah, I'm keeping an eye on the new Nexus Mods App too.  Even if I stick with MO2 for my Bethesda games, I might want to use the new mod manager for others, if I mod other games enough!

(Most of my games with mod support, their built-in mod managers have been enough for the few mods I've installed.  Or they're like The Sims 1, where we had no mod managers per se, but we had a bunch of third-party tools for creating and editing what we put in our game. 🙂)
