SSEEdit UI Question: File Type Display

Recommended Posts

I just updated from Skyrim 1.6.640 to 1.6.1170. AND I updated to SSEEdit 4.1.5f. I am using MO2 v.2.5.0. I don't know if my recent updates affected this issue.

Now when I load SSEEdit I no longer see the file type column on the left. There used to be a column that displayed all the extensions for each file: ESM, ESP, or ESL. It was nice as when I would run a script to ESL a program, it would quickly show if the mod change to an ESL.

The columns I see now are:

FormID, EditorID, and Name.

EditorID appears blank with no values being displayed.

I searched everywhere but I cannot find a way to show the file type. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

first runtime on new/any version requires rebuilding/building the reference data, did you wait for it to complete doing this ?

once it has completed it first time runtime referencing.. it will populate the left panel, BTW noticed you said nothing about the right panel, did you even look  ?

[00:17] Background Loader: still building references...

Hey there, Sorry, I just saw you had replied. I didn't get any notification of that.

So yes, I waited for SSEEdit to finish building the reference data. It obviously takes a while. Then the right side says Finished. I have used this for years now successfully.

But there appears to be a missing column on the left. When I ESL a mod, there used to be a clear ESL next to the plugin. The plugin still shows up, and I can tell if the ESL worked by reading the right side.

Does anyone know where I can get help?
